Delete links in your Telegram group automatically
Choose which messages Group Shield removes from your group.
Group Shield in short
Group Shield deletes messages with links from non-admins, removes join and leave messages and can mute rapid message sending. Each switch starts off until an admin enables it.
- Handle: @WordRaceGroupBot (https://t.me/WordRaceGroupBot)
- Add to a group: Make the bot an admin with delete and restrict rights, then send /links on in the group. Enable /clean on or /flood on separately if needed. Use /status to check the switches. Link: https://t.me/WordRaceGroupBot?startgroup=site&admin=delete_messages+restrict_members
- Start in private: Open the bot and press Start for setup instructions. Configure the switches as a group admin.
- Price: Free, with optional Pro for 150 Stars once per group. Pro adds up to 20 allowed domains, up to 50 blocked words or phrases and your own warning text, with no footer.
Limits
- Admins are never checked. Bots, automatic channel forwards and messages sent as a channel are skipped too.
- The link filter uses Telegram link entities in new messages and captions. Edits aren't checked, and a bare @mention isn't a link. It doesn't stop all spam.
- With /flood on, 5 messages in 10 seconds trigger a 10-minute mute. A Pro group's blocked-word list runs even with /links off.
Facts checked against the bot on .
Group Shield runs as @WordRaceGroupBot. Add it as a group admin with permission to delete messages and restrict members. Every switch starts off. An admin must send /links on, /clean on or /flood on to enable that rule.
With /links on, the bot deletes messages with links from non-admins, including links in captions. /clean on removes join and leave messages. /flood on mutes a non-admin who sends 5 messages in 10 seconds for 10 minutes. Use off instead of on to disable a switch, and /status to see the current settings.
Admins are never checked. Bots and messages sent as a channel are skipped too. The link rule uses links Telegram marks in new messages; a bare @mention isn't a link. Edits aren't checked, so adding a link to an old message won't trigger deletion. These rules don't stop all spam.

- It also stores source tags and counters. Payment support messages are stored as text. Ordinary group message contents aren't saved in the group tables.

FAQ
- Why isn't the bot deleting my test link?
- Check that /links is on and the bot can delete messages. Test with a regular member account using a new message. Admins are never checked, and edits aren't handled.
- What does Pro cost?
- Pro is optional and costs 150 Stars once per group. It adds an allowlist of 20 domains, up to 50 blocked words or phrases and your own warning text, with no footer. The switches stay free.
- Can approved websites still be shared?
- With Pro, add a domain using /allow example.com. Its subdomains also pass the link filter. Other links in the same message can still cause deletion, and the word filter remains separate.
- Does turning links off disable blocked words?
- No. In a Pro group, the word filter runs as soon as an admin adds a word. Use /block to view the list and /block remove followed by the word or phrase to remove it.
