Limits
- A round needs 3 to 12 players and lasts 8 minutes.

Facts checked against the bot on .
SpyPartyProBot runs the party game Spy in a Telegram group. Everyone gets the same secret place in a private message, except one player: the spy. The players ask each other questions, work out who does not know the place, then vote. The spy wins by staying hidden or by guessing the place.
The group sees one round card with the buttons Join and Start, then a card with the button Vote, and at the end a reveal: who the spy was and what the place was. The roles never appear in the group before the reveal. Each role goes to the player in a private message, in the language of that player's Telegram.

Free vs Pro
Free
- 10 places
- 3 to 12 players in a round
- Rounds of 8 minutes
Pro — 150 Stars (≈ $3), one-time, per user
- All 40 places for the rounds that you host
How it works, step by step
- Add the bot to your group and send /spy in the group. The bot posts a round card.
- Each player taps Join. The button opens the private chat with the bot. The player presses Start there, and the bot answers that he is in. This step lets the bot send the role later.
- When 3 to 12 players are in, the host (or a group admin) taps Start. Each player gets a private message with the place and a role. One player gets "You are the spy" and a list of possible places.
- For 8 minutes the players take turns and ask each other questions in the group. The players try to find the spy. The spy tries to blend in.
- Players tap Vote and pick the spy, one vote each. The spy can tap Guess the place in the private message with the role. The bot then posts the reveal in the group. Send /spy for another round.
Privacy
- For each round the bot stores the group id, the host, the players who joined (Telegram id, display name, language), the role of each player, the votes and the result.
- The bot sends the secret place and the role in a private message. It posts no role in the group before the reveal.

FAQ
- How many players does a round need?
- 3 to 12. The host cannot start with fewer than 3, and the lobby is full at 12.
- Why did a player get no role?
- A bot cannot write first to a person in private. Each player must open a private chat with the bot and press Start once. A player who did not do it is left out of that round and can join the next one. If fewer than 3 players got a role, the round is cancelled.
- How does the spy win?
- The spy wins if the group accuses the wrong player, if the vote has no clear majority, or if the spy guesses the place with the button Guess the place in the private message. The spy has one guess: a wrong guess loses the round.
- How long is a round?
- 8 minutes. The result shows when everyone has voted or when the 8 minutes are up.
- Is it free?
- Yes. Free rounds use 10 places. Pro is a one-time payment of 150 Telegram Stars and opens all 40 places for the rounds that you host.
- Does the bot need admin rights?
- No. It posts and edits its own messages only.
