Steps

Stay in the group chat — don't switch to a DM. Open the message box in the group where the conversation is already happening.
Type @WhisperLockBot, tag the one member it's for, and write the text. Example: @WhisperLockBot @alice can you cover my shift, I'll explain later. Only @alice will be able to open it.
Send the inline result. Tap the preview Telegram shows and it posts as a locked card in the group, visible to everyone but readable by nobody yet.
The tagged member taps to reveal it privately. Only @alice (and you) can tap the card and see the text in a popup. The rest of the group keeps seeing a sealed card with no content.

Everyone sees a sealed card appear between the normal messages; only @marc can read the ask. The card is addressed to a person, not to a role. If you tag @teamlead and someone else holds that username tomorrow, the tag follows the username, not the job title — so check who actually owns the handle before you tag it in a group where it matters.
