Halloween Questions for a Group Chat
Group chats go quiet now and then, and a good question usually gets them talking again. IcebreakerDailyBot has a set of 35 Halloween questions that post straight into the chat, so nobody has to hunt for a list and paste it in.
They run from 23 October 2026 to 1 November 2026 and they're free for every group, Pro groups included. The questions cover costumes, scary films, spooky stories, candy and autumn evenings. They're friendly, nothing gory.
After 1 November the Halloween set switches off by itself and the normal daily question carries on. Nobody has to remember to turn anything off, and the usual pool of 190 free questions stays where it was.

Steps
- Add the bot to the group. Add IcebreakerDailyBot to the group chat where you want the questions. Members don't need to do anything. They just reply under the question like they'd reply to any other message.
- Post a Halloween question with /halloween. Anyone in the group can send /halloween to get one Halloween question right now. The bot posts it in the group's language and each group can use the command once per local day. A second try the same day gets one short reply and no new post.
- Turn on the daily question for the rotation. An admin sends /icebreaker on 10:00 to start one question a day. Free groups always post at 10:00 group time, which you set with /itz. During the season the daily slot is a Halloween question on 23, 25, 27, 29 and 31 October, and the normal general question on 24, 26, 28 and 30 October and on 1 November.
- Use /question when the chat needs one more. Admins can post the day's question on demand with /question. Free groups get one manual post a day. If it falls on a Halloween day, the question comes from the Halloween set.
- Preview in a private chat. Send /halloween to the bot in a private chat and it shows you one question. It's a quick way to check the tone before you add it to a group, and it doesn't touch any group's schedule.
Good to know
- The Halloween questions are free and need no Pro. A Pro group that picked a theme with /theme keeps that theme, because what a payer chose is never replaced. A Pro group with no theme gets the same rotation as everyone else.
- The Halloween set has its own tracking, so a group won't see a repeat until it has used all 35. The normal question pool keeps its own place and carries on afterwards.
- The season runs on UTC dates, from the start of 23 October 2026 to the end of 1 November 2026. A group far ahead of UTC counts days in its own local time, so the rotation days follow the group's clock.
- If the day already has a daily question, /halloween posts an extra one without resetting the reply count on the first. The bot counts replies and doesn't read or store what members write.
- After 1 November, /halloween answers that the questions aren't running and will be back next season. /question and the daily post work as always.
- The questions are fixed copy in 11 languages. Persian, Arabic and Hindi versions never name the holiday and talk about a spooky night, sweets and autumn evenings instead, so they read naturally for groups where Halloween isn't common. An admin can set the group language with /lang if the bot guessed wrong.
FAQ
- Are the Halloween questions free?
- Yes, for every group. From 23 October to 1 November 2026 the daily question rotates with the Halloween set and /halloween posts one on demand, with no payment and no Pro needed.
- What happens after 1 November?
- The Halloween set stops. /halloween replies that the questions aren't running right now, the daily question goes back to the normal pool and /question works as always. The free pool has 190 questions, so there's plenty left.
- How many Halloween questions can a group post in a day?
- The command posts one per local day. If the daily question is also a Halloween one that day, the group sees both.
- Can a Pro group still use its theme?
- Yes. A Pro group that chose a theme with /theme keeps it for the daily post. It can still use /halloween for a seasonal question whenever it likes.
