How to Track Daily Habits in Telegram
A habit tracker only works if checking in is easier than skipping it. HabitStreakProBot keeps the whole loop inside Telegram: add a habit, get a daily prompt with tap buttons, and mark it done with one tap — no typing, no separate app to open.
It keeps a running streak per habit and has a Mini App board so you can see everything at a glance instead of scrolling back through chat history to remember where you left off.
Because the whole loop lives in the chat you already have open all day, there's no separate app install and no separate notification permission to grant — the daily prompt arrives as a normal Telegram message.

Steps
- Start a chat with @HabitStreakProBot. This is a personal bot — your habits are private to your account, not shared to any group.
- Add a habit with /add. Example: /add drink water. The confirmation shows the habit's numeric id ("✅ #3 …"). Add as many as your tier allows.
- Set your check-in hour and timezone. /time 20 sets the hour (in your timezone) the daily prompt is sent; /tz +2 sets your UTC offset so that hour lines up with your actual local time.
- Check in with /done when the prompt arrives. It shows today's habits as tap buttons — tap the one you finished. No arguments, no typing needed.
- Track progress with /streaks or the Mini App board. /streaks shows your current streak per habit in chat; the Mini App board (from the bot's menu button) shows everything at once.
- Remove a habit you no longer track with /remove. Example: /remove 3, using the numeric id shown when you added the habit with /add — this archives it and stops future prompts, without touching your other habits.
Good to know
- Free: 3 habits tracked. Pro removes the cap and adds streak insurance, for a one-time 150 Stars (≈ $3) payment per user or a 100 Stars/month subscription — /pro shows both.
- Streak insurance protects your streak from breaking on an occasional missed day instead of resetting it to zero.
- The prompt fires once a day, at the hour you set with /time — the background check itself runs every hour, but you're only prompted once per day.
- No habit data is shared to any group or other user — it's private to your account.
- You can track more than one habit at a time — each one gets its own streak, its own row in /streaks, and its own tap button in the daily /done prompt.
- Removing a habitwith /remove <id> archives that habitand stops its prompts — its streak history is kept, not deleted, and your other tracked habits are unaffected.
- Yara starts tracking two habits with @HabitStreakProBot: /add drink waterand /add 10-min walk — free tier covers both, but her 3-slot allowance is soon full. She sets /time 20 and /tz +2 so the daily /done prompt arrives at 8pm local, and each evening she taps the finished habit's button — no typing. Two weeks in, /streaks shows a 14-day streak for the walkbut an 11-day one for water, after she broke one across a busy weekend. A glance at the Mini App board confirms both rows trending up, and the one-time 150 Stars Pro streak-insurance startslooking worth it so an occasional off-day doesn't zero her three-week run on the walk. Cleaning up, /remove 2 archivesa habitthat stopped mattering without touching the others, and her streaks stay intact.
