Checking coin prices means opening an exchange app or a charting site over and over — and the moment you stop checking is usually the moment the move happens. Steps

- Set a watch. Send /alert followed by the coin, the direction, and your target level, for example /alert btc above 100000. The bot re-checks the market every 5 minutes and messages you the moment the price crosses your line. Each alert fires once and then removes itself.

- Worked example: an alert for BTC at 100,000. Say bitcoin is trading at 92,400 and you only care when it clears 100,000. Send /price btc first — you get 92,400 with the 24-hour move, which confirms you and the bot are looking at the same number. Then send /alert btc above 100000 and the bot confirms the line is set and tells you how many of your free alerts are now in use. Send /alerts and you see the line listed. - Each alert is one-shot: it fires once and is removed. If you want to be told every time bitcoin crosses the same level, you set a new alert once it fires. That is deliberate — a standing trigger on a level being tested repeatedly is how alert fatigue starts.
